El Campello's sports department, led by councillor Marcos Martínez, is now letting any resident nominate a local athlete for the 2025-2026 season awards: according to elperiodic, you just email deportes@elcampello.org with the person's name, sport and the achievements behind the nomination, ahead of a Gala del Deporte that Somos L'Alacantí notes was only revived in 2025 after a six-year break.
