According to La Marina Plaza, Club Les Marines de Calp won four podiums at the provincial stage of the national Base de Conjuntos rhythmic gymnastics championship: gold for its Benjamín team, silver for its Prebenjamín and Alevín teams and bronze for its Cadetes team, while the Infantil team finished sixth. All five of the club's teams have now qualified for the Valencian Community stage, which is open only to the top twenty teams in each category.

The University of Alicante has set up the Aula GESTAS, a permanent classroom focused on healthcare management and health technology, to run the first course on AI applied to healthcare management in Torrevieja, elperiodic Alicante reports. The newspaper says the programme grew out of a consultation process at the Torrevieja hospital that identified training needs on the ground.
