Today's essentials
ADDA's 27 November Beethoven night: tickets from 40 euros. The ADDA Simfònica Alicante will play Dvořák, Saint-Saëns and Beethoven at 8pm on Friday 27 November 2026 at the ADDA (Auditorio de la Diputación de Alicante), and tickets cost 40, 47 or 55 euros, according to AlicanteOut.
The programme opens with Dvořák's overture 'In Nature's Realm', moves on to Saint-Saëns' Piano Concerto No. 5, nicknamed 'The Egyptian', and closes with Beethoven's Symphony No. 8. The concert, titled 'Natura' (Nature, life and love II), is part of the orchestra's 2026/27 symphonic season, which takes its theme from a Dvořák trilogy and returns to it throughout the year, AlicanteOut explains.
The two guest names are worth a look. Carles Marín, the soloist, was born in Valencia in 1978 and has won more than thirty international competition prizes, including first prize at the Flame Competition held at UNESCO in Paris in 2003, where he was the only Spanish pianist to be awarded, according to his official website. On the podium, the ADDA's own site says Bulgarian conductor Nayden Todorov, born in 1974, has led orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra.
Finding the venue is simple: the ADDA sits on Paseo de Campoamor s/n, 03010 Alicante. Tickets have been on sale since 30 July 2026, the ADDA states. You can book online through the Janto system at adda.janto.es, call the auditorium on 965 91 91 00, or buy at the box office, which opens Monday to Friday from 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 8pm, plus two hours before every concert. Reduced prices apply to under-30s and over-65s.
What this means for you: if you want a seat, book now rather than at the door, and if you are under 30 or over 65, ask for the reduced rate before you pay full price. If you are new to the province, this programme is an easy way into the ADDA season. The overture and the Beethoven symphony are both short, and the Saint-Saëns concerto is one of the most colourful in the piano repertoire. The date to keep is Friday 27 November 2026 at 8pm, per the ADDA's official site.
Weather today

Inland it will be cooler and wetter: Pinoso stays between 17 and 24 degrees, with the highest chance of rain in the area at 58% and only light wind (up to 10 km/h). On the southern coast, Torrevieja ranges from 21 to 26 degrees with a 35% chance of showers, but it is the breeziest spot of the day, with gusts of up to 21 km/h. Keep an umbrella in your bag, especially if you are heading inland, and allow for a breezier walk along the Torrevieja seafront.
